The eternal resting place of the high plains nobility, the imposing chullpas of Sillustani stand on the shores of Lake Umayo, in Puno.
Built from perfectly fitted stone blocks in the form of an inverted cone, these burial towers are up to twelve meters tall.
Close to this complex is the Site Museum, where a number of artifacts from the Colla, Tiahuanaco and Inca cultures are displayed.
