One of the best places to experience the Peruvian Amazon is the World Heritage Site Manu National Park.

Here, life can be witnessed in its purest form: 221 species of mammals, hundreds of bird species and a variety of ecosystems ranging from lowland tropical forest to cold high grasslands more than 4000 meters above sea level. Manu National Park is also home to indigenous populations who have retained their traditions and live in complete isolation.
