Among its other wonders, Pisac, a proud village in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, is home to the Potato Park. This innovative initiative is managed by local farming communities with the aim of protecting and celebrating the diversity of native potatoes, as well as other traditional Andean crops.
Visitors can learn about and try part of the seemingly infinite variety of potatoes from the surrounding area, as well as share with local people and learn more about their ancestral use of medicinal plants, or study their spinning and weaving techniques.
