The Incas wera an adventurous people who dared to open up new routes throughout their vast empire. Imagine traveling around Peru as they did, on foot.
This is possible today, by following the route of the Qhapaq Ñan, or Inca Trail, a section of which leads to Machu Picchu and is one of the world’s most popular trekking routes.
