Vote for Peru and its wonders! Our country has just been nominated in five categories at the World Travel Awards (WTA) 2022, known as the “Tourism Oscars”. This 29th annual worldwide edition of this prestigious award, gives us a new opportunity for Peru to be crowned as one of the main tourist destinations on the planet.
“This is a great opportunity to achieve the highest recognition in the field of global travel and tourism by winning the highest award in the industry,” said the organization of the World Travel Awards.
Once again, Machu Picchu participates as the Best Tourist Attraction in the World and Peru stands out as a cultural, gastronomic and environmentally friendly destination.

How to vote in the WTA 2022?
To vote, you need to register on the website and thus create a personal account. Once registered, you'll receive a verification e-mail and you'll need to click on the link sent. Only then can you log in and cast your vote in the categories in which our country is nominated.
The World Travel Awards
The WTA awards annually the tourist destinations that have marked excellence in the past year and are considered a world leader in the tourism industry. Peru has already had great achievements in this award. This same year, Peru won 3 awards at the South American edition of the WTA: Best Culinary Destination and Best Cultural Destination in South America. In addition, Machu Picchu was crowned as the Best Tourist Attraction in the region.
