Around the world, many people are already planning where to go for their upcoming summer vacations. Therefore, the renowned American travel platform of CNN suggests 12 places to visit thanks to their wonderful tourist attractions. In this list, Peru stands out as a must-see destination.
Why visit Peru? The text mentions that in our country the dollar is strong and that Peruvians welcome travelers with open arms. Additionally, it highlights Lima for its world-renowned dining scene and the impressive Sacred Valley of the Inkas, that UNESCO calls "the most amazing urban creation of the Inka Empire at its height."

The charm of Lima
CNN is not the only network recognizing Peru's cultural and gastronomic diversity. Matador Network, an American specialized travel media, has recently published an article highlighting the good air connectivity from New York to Lima. Direct flights between the two cities usually last between 7 to 8 hours, which facilitates the flow of travelers and promotes tourism in our country.
The news also describes Lima as a city with its own charm, where surfers from around the world come to practice at its beaches. It also highlights the street art and the galleries of Barranco, the bars and restaurants of Miraflores, and the Larco Museum, which "has fascinating exhibits on the nation’s pre-Columbian history."
