The recent distinction granted to the gastronomic campaign The lost flavor at the International Committee of Tourism Film Festivals (CIFFT) reaffirms the international recognition of Peru's exquisite culinary diversity. This achievement not only showcases the creativity and quality of the presented audiovisual material but also promotes the country as a leading culinary destination worldwide.
The campaign shone brightly, earning acknowledgment as the Best Documentary from Latin America at the 16th Art&Tur International Tourism Film Festival, an event primarily focused on promoting films and videos related to tourism. Furthermore, it has obtained notable awards, including the silver trophy in the Tourism, Travel, and Adventure category at the 14th Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards, a festival that highlights and rewards creativity, quality, and effectiveness in audiovisual content creation. At this event, the campaign competed with almost 900 entries from 45 countries.

It is also worth mentioning that The lost flavor achieved the runner-up position in the Documentary category at the Zagreb Tourfilm Festival, where filmmakers, content creators, and tourism experts gather to showcase and recognize films and videos that spotlight the beauty and diversity of tourist destinations worldwide. On this occasion, the campaign competed against nearly 130 entries from 38 countries.
Beyond showcasing Peru's culinary abundance, this achievement also consolidates the country as an attractive and unique destination for culinary enthusiasts. For this purpose, there has been widespread promotion on digital media, social networks, outdoor advertising, and the launch of a mini-site aimed at promoting this concept.
