Thus, you can embark on expeditions to the Archaeological Complex of Chan Chan (declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986), the El Brujo Archaeological Complex, the Moche Countryside, Huaca Arco Iris, and the district of Huamachuco, where you will find the Archaeological Complex of Marcahuamachuco and the archaeological site of Wiracochapampa, which join the Huari and Huamachucho cultures.

A special mention deserves the Rio Abiseo National Park. This protected natural area, located between the regions of La Libertad and San Martin, was also recognized by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1983. Here, you can experience and breathe nature in its purest state, as well as in the El Cañoncillo Natural Forest, which is a privately owned conservation area of carob dry forests, reaching heights of up to 8 meters.
